 Pound Ridge Fireworks 4th of July Celebration
The fireworks ended at 10 pm and this was posted before 11 pm! Not to brag, of course. Join us at the Twifties Fireworks, Pound Ridge Town Park, in bucolic Pound Ridge, Westchester County, NY.
It was a perfect night, like something out of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Picnic in the park, light sabers, glow necklaces pols shaking hands.
Dance contest, cha cha ca. New fireworks, golden rain, cherry and grape blossoms. Burning embers beeline toward blankets. We started with a finale and ended with one too. Exodus as the buses and walkers cut through the low hanging smoke.

 Campanelli Ranch Homes, Framingham, Driving Tour
The house with a CULT of appreciative owners, the house that can take you from birth to death, all on one level. We take you on a short driving tour of the...Campanelli Ranch Houses of Framingham, Massachusetts. It has been said that the majority of the 7000 something Campanelli Homes were built in Framingham in the 1950s. In this video we take you to Pinefield, of Framingham, MA, and show the classic L shaped Campanelli Ranch, the straight model, and an unusual straight model with an inverted V peak over the living room window in a Nobscot neighborhhood by Gregory Road and the Woodfield Playground. We are by Pinewood Drive, Francine Road, and Sloane Drive in Framingham. If you know something about the history of the inverted V model, or have any Campi Ranch info to add, please post it below! The Campanelli Ranch was a one-level home on a poured concrete slab and had never-before-seen modern features such as floors with radiant heating, cabinet style refrigerator and freezer that hung above the kitchen counter, washing machine under the kitchen counter next to the dishwasher, attached garage, and an oil burner heater in the kitchen. The garage was big enough for a car and had enough space next to it so that the owners could close it in and add a family room off the kitchen. The ones I am familiar with in the Cherryfield Neighborhood of Framingham were on 1/4 acre lots with 3 small bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a poured concrete back patio that could easily be turned into the foundation for a porch or extra room. The ceiling plaster was hand crafted into the distinctive Campanelli Swirl that made me think of rows of movie theatre seats as I gazed sleepily up at it. A belly dance hafla dance performance and party was held at Trinity Psychotherapy, Pound Ridge, NY in December 2010. Here we see Princess Layla with excerpts from her 3 dances. Princess Layla is founder of Twifties, the fun people over 50. She wishes to thank her teachers: Zohar, Aszmara, Judy Reda, and Gina, and others.  Twifties in Action, Janice - Yoga and Kayaking
Janice is an ebullient and vital Twifty woman that we met on the Pier in Piermont. She swears by yoga for staying fit, and we watch her launch her kayak and paddle off into the sunset of the Hudson River. She loves the Birchwood Center in Nyack and Yoga Zone (now Yoga Works) in Irvington, NY.

The Pier in Piermont is a lovely place to take a 2 mile walk, even though it's not really a pier. Art Rittenberg Field park next to the pier offers covered picnic tables. Downtown Piermont is a popular Twifty destination for dining, shopping, and nightlife at places like the Turning Point. We see a car called Braebus.
